1. Getting old....hahaha! By getting old, you're guaranteed a spot in His presence when you die. Now seriously speaking.....
2. Read His Holy Word......How do you get to know someone you first meet? By sizing them up or "reading" them. You listen to the way they talk, the way they carry themselves, how they look under pressure, how they look relaxed, the subject matter of what they are talking about, and so on. When you read Gods word, you'll find Him to be, a poet, a father, a healer, a king, a warrior, a lover and a friend. There is so much more to Him than that, but you have to find that out by reading for yourself!
3. Intentionally seeking Him.......Deuteronomy 4:29 NIV
But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Proverbs 8:17 NIV....I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.
Jeremiah 29:11-14... For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart I will be found by you," declares the LORD
God is not hiding! He's out in the open, waiting patiently, JUST FOR YOU!

He wants you to know Him. There are so many voids in our lives that only Jesus can fill completely. We try to stick everything else in there though, don't we? Things like food, television, money, relationships with other people, sometimes even church! It's like when they fill the potholes on the roadways, and the big trucks come along with all that weight and pull the filling right out and sometimes even make the holes bigger. There is only one thing that is satisfying enough, only one thing that is big enough to fill those gaps....JESUS. He is the way, the truth, and the life.
Now, I'm not saying your life will be perfect when you encounter Christ, but I am saying... it will never be the same and it will be better. The rough and tough trials of life won't seem so unbearable or lonely. He's always just a call away and willing to be with YOU.
Praying for you!!
